Who you are

You go first and you leave a trail. The message the moment you find a good doctor, the notes sent before anybody asks, the warning about the part that goes wrong. You are always heading toward something you have not done yet, and you leave a legible line behind you as you go, because you remember what it was like when nobody told you anything.

You have decided, more or less permanently, that things will work out, and you act accordingly. From outside it looks reckless. It is not. You build for the version of the day where the trouble clears, and you keep going when the landmarks disappear, which is why people follow you into situations they would never have entered on their own.
