Who you are

You enjoy a proper disagreement. Not point scoring, the real kind, where somebody pushes back on what you said and you both end up somewhere neither of you started. You are competitive without being cruel and far more interested in the argument being good than in winning it, which makes you the friend people ring when they need their thinking tested.

You are careful about force. You know how hard each particular person can be pushed, you keep to the limits you agreed even when you are losing, and you do not drag up old material to win a new argument.
