Who you are

In any group there is a portion of the work with no owner. The awkward phone call, the person nobody wants to sit with, the task that will make somebody unpopular. You take it, generally without discussion, and the group keeps functioning without ever learning why. You are not a martyr about it. You simply notice the gap before anyone else has looked.

What you want back is not credit but a fair room. You are the one making sure the quiet person gets to finish a sentence, that the decision is not settled before the meeting starts, that the newest member is spoken to like an adult. You will spend your own standing to make that happen, and you have done it many times without announcing it.
