Who you are

You do not lecture. You simply do the thing correctly, in public, over and over, and eventually somebody younger starts doing it the same way. You have never claimed to have invented anything. You are careful with credit, and you name the person who taught you, which is rarer than it should be among people who are actually good.

You are also transparent about how you live. What people see is what there is, and you have arranged your life so that no version of you would embarrass another one.
