Who you are

You are the reason your friends still see each other. Without you, the group would have quietly dissolved eight years ago into good intentions and unanswered messages. You book the table, you chase the replies, you absorb the two people who say maybe. It costs you more effort than anybody realises, and you would do it again next month.

You take the front position openly, which some people find arrogant until they notice nobody else was volunteering. Leading, for you, means being the one blamed if it goes badly, and you accept that trade without complaint.
