Who you are

You are still here. Careers, friendships and interests that other people abandoned after two hard years are things you are quietly forty years into, and the compounding is not obvious until you look back. You do not push when pushing will not help. You wait, keep the basic conditions in place, and let the thing recover on its own timing.
