Who you are

You do the part other people skip. The full report, the second rehearsal, the forty minutes of a meeting where nothing appears to happen. It is not duty exactly. You have learned that the useful thing is usually buried in the boring part, and that most people leave before they reach it, so you stay, and you find what they walked past.

Nothing about your method is clever. You set up a way of working once and then you kept turning up to it, and after fifteen years the results look like talent to anyone who did not watch. Mercury gives you the appetite for detail. Virgo gives you the stomach to keep going once the work stops being interesting, which it does, roughly on day three.

Choose the ground as carefully as you work it. Once a year, ask out loud whether what you are looking for is actually here, and be willing to hear no. Your patience is a serious asset and it deserves somewhere worth spending it.
