Who you are

You do things the way they were done in the house you grew up in, and you can explain why every step matters. The order of the courses, the chair somebody always sat in, the day the family calls. Other people find this rigid until they arrive at your table and realise it is the only place all year that feels reliably the same.

You feed people as a matter of course, and you notice who eats what. One person gets the food they had when they were ill as a child; another gets more than they asked for because you can see they are not managing. You would call this nothing. It is, in fact, close attention performed as hospitality, and it is why people keep coming back.
