Who you are

There is something in your register that people trust before they decide to. You can walk into a room where a child is crying or a colleague is coming apart, say almost nothing of substance, and the temperature drops. Venus gave you warmth you did not earn and have never quite believed in. Other people have believed in it since you were about nine.

You are also a maker of small rituals. The same tea, the same walk, the same phone call on Sunday. Use the warmth to make people safe enough to face things, not safe enough to avoid them. Your soul work is comfort that leads somewhere: the voice that gets a child through the dark, and then the morning where you both look straight at what was in the room.
